Keith Richards (Dartford, December 18, 1943) is best known for his innovative guitar playing. His guitar sound therefore also forms a large part of the 'Stones sound'. His performance is always supercooled alongside a hugely energetic Mick Jagger. In addition, he has extensively demonstrated his songwriting skills over the years. In music magazine Rolling Stone he is 10th on the list of 100 best guitarists of all time.
