It was a big surprise to Yulia's parents that their daughter had a talent for drawing and painting. Especially the mixing of colours has fascinated her since early childhood. She studied to become a drawing teacher (classical art) at the university. In 2000, Yulia started restoring and painting icons. Later she also started making murals and paintings and became increasingly distant from classical art, her work becoming more and more modern. She now uses a lot of cheerful colours and wants to give people a positive feeling with her paintings, this gives her energy. In some works, however, there are also fragments of the classical base. The work is framed in a beautiful, high-quality shadowbox frame.
