French school, XX century - Study of nude

Dimensions of canvas are 50cm x40cm the frame which is not original to the painting measures 60cmx50cm.

Very confident oil painting in the grouping of Montparnasse artists.Purchased in France.This is not signed or dated, with no canvas stamp to help us either.I would imagine this to be a 30's or 40's painting.The nails are rusted in the canvas showing some age.

A picture that deserves some further research and sits perfectly in a modern or retro interior.

I will package and ship with great care for the new owner.
