Munttoren - etching - 25 x 15 cm. With margin - 31.5 x 20.5 cm.
Westerkerk - etching - 26 x 15.5 cm. With margin - 40.5 x 26 cm.
Both etchings are signed in pencil by hand and are titled in the lower left.
Both etchings are not framed.
The etchings are in good condition.
Johannes Josseaud (1880 - 1935)
Born in Amsterdam, died in Haarlem
The active period of Josseaud was of about 1895 to 1935. He worked in Amsterdam (until 1902, 1903-1911), Bussum (until 1903), Schoten (Haarlem, until 1919 and after 1926) and in Zandvoort (until 1926).
Josseaud was a pupil of Willem Wenckebach and was qualified as a watercolourist, painter, draughtsman, engraver and lithographer. His subjects are mainly cityscapes, interiors and marines.
