Two fine large bronze needles from the Roman Empire, period approx. 50 - 350 AD A needle is of the type mushroom head needle with double conical head. The other one is probably of the type spindle whorl head needle The needles served as jewellery for garments and hair. Complete. Found in West Germany, Roman province of Germania Superior.
