The dagger for leaders of the “Technische Nothilfe” (Technical Emergency Services) M1938 was introduced for officers with the rank of “Stabsführers” and higher. Manufacturer: Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. The total length is approx. 43 cm, the blade length (without grip) is approx. 28 cm. The amber-coloured grip is made of plastic. Round pommel with the TENO cog wheel emblem with 15 cogs, as it should be. It has a silver-plated cross guard in the shape of an imperial eagle, which is holding the TENO wreath with the swastika and the TENO symbol “TN” in its claws. The “small” TENO wreath in the swastika also has 15 cogs. Exquisitely executed! Smooth steel blade with deep and neatly etched weapon / serial number “1823”, the same number can also be found on the scabbard. The back features the double manufacturer’s logo: Original Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. Above the manufacturer’s logo of the TENO eagle and the inscription “GES. GESCH. The blade is highly polished with a “needle” point. The silver-plated grained scabbard is stamped with the same weapon (serial) number “1823”. The pommel, the cross guard and the scabbard all have an exquisite dark patina. The blade is sucked in when inserted into the scabbard. The dagger is perfectly firm, nothing wobbles.
