Marcello Spiazzi was born in Milan in 1963. His passion for visual arts began at a young age, inspired by his uncle Luciano Spiazzi (1930-1988), a well-known art critic from Brescia.
In addition to visual arts, he is also passionate about music. He obtained a piano diploma in 1990 and subsequently performed in concerts.
In 1977 he started experimenting with analogue photography with a Pentax.
It was only in 2007, when his piano career was definitively abandoned, that he began to provide services to important Italian and foreign companies, such as: ‘Corriere della sera’ foundation, Petronas, Mediaset, HTC, Sicuritalia, etc.
In May 2009, the magazine ‘National Geographic Italia’ published one of his naturalistic photos.
After fighting against a serious illness for three years, he regained his inner strength and devoted himself to art photography inspired by nature, landscapes, scenes from everyday life and the various aspects of the human being.
