Where do you begin by describing this handmade and painted miniature shop that has been taken from real life?
Very detailed and fabulously precise and authentically elaborated and finished diorama from a simple food shop from (presumably) Peru or Chile. The materials used are very diverse and all 'to the point', which results in a very believable and lifelike scene.
Whether it is the dried fish on the wall, the sackcloth bags on the floor, the nuts in a box, the food on the shelves or the price lists and posters on the walls, everything is finished to perfection! Even the weathered and painted façade shows 100% what it looks like in rural Latin America.
This beautiful, decorative piece has been made of private property since 1990 and has served as interior decoration in a comestibles shop.
It's a totally UNIQUE item, so ONE OF A KIND!
