Roberto Gorgò (1932-) lives in Carpi (Modena), in Italy.
His photography began in the 1960s with a Rollei 6x6, related to his family's movements and travels.
It continued over the years using colour techniques and often changing subjects.
In 1995, with the purchase of a Leica 35 mm, he began to explore black and white fascinated by the infrared technique.
Since then and until 2009 he continued to take hundreds of shots with a Hasselblad Panoramic XPan, thus contributing
to the creation of an archive of prints, covering views of the Italian landscape, cities, seas, lakes
and mountains, everything that caught his eye.
The archive asset includes approx. 3,000 prints sized 24 x 30 cm, stored in an acid-free passe-partout.
