Two Russian lacquer boxes - Palekh, Mstera . Signed. The boxes are made of papier-mâché, covered with lacquer. Hand-painted miniatures depict scenes from folk Russian fairy tales. 1) The black box from the Mstera school, it depicts a "Troika" miniature. With an inscription in Cyrillic in the left corner of the box: "Mstera" - the name of the famous school of miniature painting. With an inscription in the middle: "Trojka", the artist's initials on the right: "M.O". Inside, the box is covered with red lacquer. With an arch-shaped lid, the box on four feet resembles a trunk. Height: 3,8 cm, width: 8.5 cm; depth: 5.6 cm Artist: M.O. With minor lacquer chips at the hinge, shown in the photos. 2) The red box depicts an embroidering girl. In the left corner: the name of the Palekh school from which the box comes from. In the middle: a signature. Base dimensions: 6.5 cm x 6.8 cm, height: 3.5 cm The rear bottom corner is chipped - it is visible in the photos. The photos were taken in macro mode, in fact the defect is not very visible. The boxes will be well secured and sent by a courier.
