Striking silver men's watch from the 1920s/1930s with elongated case and a beautiful original dial.
In the 1920s/1930s, it was common for dials not to be marked with a brand name.
The case is made of solid silver (0.800) with few visible signs of wear.
The width is 26.5 mm (excluding the crown) and it measures 42.5 mm from tip to tip.
Cognac-coloured dial with few signs of ageing, but naturally it does have some patina (dots/spots).
The black numerals are centrifugal on the dial, a common style in the 1920s.
This is called 'Exploding Dial'.
The thick crystal is still scratch free.
Lovely silver crown that winds easily.
The crown was replaced with a new one after the photos were taken, since the old one had become too smooth (see photo 2).
The old straightforward movement has been replaced at some point in time by a perfectly running Swiss movement.
Equipped with a medium-brown, never worn calfskin strap.
Suited for wrists of over 20 cm in circumference.
In short: a 100-year old men's watch that is suited for daily use, with respect for its age.
A jewel on any wrist and a great 'conversation piece'.
(The glass, crowns, straps and damage caused by transport or improper use are not covered by the warranty.)
