A fantastic barn find, a Sparta FP 50 TA, one of the first Sparta mopeds! Year of production around 1953/54.

The engine runs quietly at both high and low speed.
Extremely good climbing abilities.
Hand-operated clutch with the option to idle the engine.
Transmission through a chain.
Gas control by twisting the handle with a special pitch to let the gas work constantly.
Choke control on the handlebar.
Fuel tap with reserve position to warn the user in time when fuel supply stops.
Tyres 25 x 2.
Sturdy luggage rack with stand.
Large headlight with 15 Watt double spiral bulb, with dimmer switch on the handlebar.
Enormous light intensity.
Saddle with 3 springs and a tool bag.
Drum brake hub in the front, back pedal brake in the back.
Wide and deep mudguards.
Smooth and very rigid frame with a special triangular construction (two bottom tubes) and a solid fork with rubber ensure excellent roadholding. Lighting, jacket protectors and lock are part of the standard equipment.
