After studying industrial design, Charles Lapicque painted his first landscapes in 1920. In connection with his musical practice, he questions plastically about the modes of projectio in space. Noted by Jeanne Bucher, he presented his first solo exhibition in 1928. Always eager for new knowledge, he resumed studies of optics and studied colour perception.
