The very well-preserved vertically-brushed dial is almost free from patina and signs of damage. There is a hardly visible fleck of patina at 11 o'clock. The watch runs reliably, excellently and precisely (as is usual for a working tuning-fork watch). This watch can be worn immediately!
The case is in very good condition. A few minor signs of wear are visible. The calibre 2181 bears the designation M9 (circa 1969), the case has the designation N0 (circa 1970). All components of the watch belong together (a difference of one year is completely normal). The original crown is only minimally worn. The case back, too, has only light signs of wear. The watch stops properly after the sunken crown is pulled. The armoured crystal is original Bulova and has minimal signs of wear. The blue colour of the indices and date window is only weakly affected by ageing.
The date changes flawlessly. Date quick setting works by pressing and turning the crown.
Diameter: 35 mm wide (without crown).
Height (with crystal): 10.5 mm.
The black leather strap is new, genuine leather, total length: 18 cm.
A very beautiful Accutron in very good condition. A maintenance (oiling of the most important components) might be necessary.
