Gelderland two-door pillow closet.
Rare low closet of its kind - 170 cm high.
Beautiful blond oak.
On three ball feet.
This may have been the most beloved model for a Dutch closet from the 17th century until the 19th century. The first were made in the early 17th century. This one is from the 19th century, but there's actually no difference in model and finish - the ebony ornaments are typical Dutch Renaissance - the walnut breasts of the pillows -the fluting in the styles.
And the classic carving with classic Renaissance acanthus motifs in the hood.
Very skilfully performed by a master carver.
For the German Ruhr Area and Belgium I can deliver it for € 200. Please note, this site offers a higher price. Please contact me.
