John Bushman was previously known as Johannes Buschmann and probably born around the 1640s. He was only traceable from around 1661 to 1710 in London, where he emigrated from Augsburg. He was accepted into the London Clockmakers Company in 1662.

Very thick, finely fire-gilded antique progenitor movement decorated with so-called Egyptian columns and large verge. The movement is signed Jo Bushman London. Extraordinary beautiful verge cock with floral decoration (renaissance). Floral applique on the plate.
Strikes the hour via bell. Self-striking. The watch has an open-worked casing to improve the chime. Beautiful chime. Activated via pendant.
Movement in working order. Watch key is included.

Very good Oignon verge clock in fire-gilded casing (abraded at the back) with 60 mm diameter without pendant. With pendant 89 mm. Height 32 mm - weight 182 g
