Beautiful 8 reales silver coin minted in Segovia in 1660. Assayer BR (bound).
Obverse: PHILIPPVS IIII DG around the crowned coat of arms, which is between a two-story aqueduct (mint) above BR (assayer) and the number 8.
Reverse: HISPANIARVM REX 1660 around the barracks of castles and lions inside of an eight-lobe edge.
Cal. 591, 26.00 g • ⌀ 41 mm.
Beautiful. Rare and even more so in this condition, extremely well preserved. Beautiful colour scheme on silver.
